Buccaneers cut party wingman Tom Brady

Ryan Griffin, the backup quarterback who was supporting Tom Brady when he partied hard at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Super Bowl victory boat parade after they won Super Bowl LV

Griffin was eliminated along with other players such as defensive lineman Benning Potoa'e, linebacker Genard Avery, safety Nolan Turner, and kicker Jose Borregales.

Brady hasn't been in Tampa Bay as long as the Tulane product has. Following the 2013 NFL Draft, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints.

However, the Buccaneers claimed him off waivers in 2015, and he only saw little play. He was first waived by the Buccaneers in 2021,

but the following day he was signed back to the practise squad and eventually came back in 2022 as well. This time around, too, it could be the case.

Given how well-versed in the scheme Griffin is, it seems like Tampa will stick with Kyle Trask and Blaine Gabbert as their backups.
