Sylvester Stallone's wife files for divorce after 25 years
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, his better half of 25 years, are separating.
On Aug. 19, she petitioned for disintegration of marriage in Palm Beach County, Fla., as per online records.
The couple started dating in 1988 — after the Rocky star and the model had an impromptu gathering that year at a Beverly Hills café — yet separated in March 1994.
Flavin and Stallone rejoined in 1995 and wedded in 1997. The two had three girls: Sophia, who turns 26 on Aug. 27; Sistine, 24; and Scarlet, 20, every one of whom filled in as Miss Golden Globe in 2017.
"I love my family," Stallone told Yahoo Entertainment by means of a rep. "We are agreeably and secretly resolving these private matters."
Flavin gave her own assertion to People: "I'm miserable to declare that following 25 years of marriage I have petitioned for legal separation from my significant other Sylvester Stallone.
While we will at this point not be hitched, I will constantly appreciate the over 30-year relationship that we shared, and I realize we are both dedicated to our wonderful girls."
