PGA Tour is being sued by Phil Mickelson, who claims to have gone on

In a lengthy interview with SI.com's Bob Harig, Phil Mickelson declared that joining LIV Golf had allowed him to "move on,"

and he expressed excitement for the future of the Saudi-sponsored circuit.

The 45-minute conversation covered a wide variety of subjects, including his participation in the radical changes to professional golf

as well as current efforts by the PGA Tour to modify its schedule and organisational structure.

Mickelson claimed that without LIV Golf giving the best players in the game power, the Tour's most recent adjustments would not have been made.

"It was very plainly told that nothing would occur. Nothing was going to change until there was leverage, he added.
