Tony La Russa News Concerns MLB

Manager Tony La Russa of the Chicago White Sox has been sidelined indefinitely due to health issues, it was reported on Wednesday.

We need to do further tests on La Russa to figure out what's wrong with him.

During La Rusa's absence, Miguel Cairo, the White Sox's bench coach, will take over as the team's manager.

Cairo was quoted by ESPN as saying, "We will have him [La Russa] in our thoughts, and we hope everything is good."

Fans of the game would prefer it if La Russa left the White Sox for good, even if it meant better health for the manager.

LaRussa turns 78 in October. He should retire eventually.
Conspiracy theorists claim the White Sox are lying about La Russa.

La Russa became White Sox manager before 2021. His team reached the ALDS last year.

White Sox are 63-66 heading into Wednesday's game against the Royals.
