Starbucks announces expanded perks for non-union employees

Starbucks unveiled additional financial advantages for non-unionized staff on Monday.

My Starbucks Savings allows workers to contribute a portion of their pay to a personal savings account via Fidelity Investments. Student Loan Management Benefit provides

 resources and individual coaching to help employees manage student loan debt, refinancing, and repayment options.

Starbucks' senior vice president of Total Rewards, Ron Crawford, stated, "As we create the future of Starbucks with our partners, we realised we could assist their financial well-being."

In August, the Seattle office of the National Labor Relations Board filed a complaint against the company for failing to offer unionised workers wage increases and other benefits.
