Friday is national dog day across the United States, and the weather in the Tri-States is looking pretty good to spend some time outdoors with the pups.

Despite August being commonly termed as the dog days of summer, high temps on Friday will only rise into the low to mid 80′s.

Combined with a bit lower humidity thanks to the weak cold front that passed through Thursday, conditions will feel seasonably warm outside on Friday with a few clouds in the sky.

The pleasant weather Friday is also good news for all the regional football games set to kick off including the QND vs QHS showdown in Quincy Friday evening.

Heading into the weekend, temperatures will tick upward a bit, into the mid to upper 80′s for both Saturday and Sunday.

Along with rising humidity, rain chances will also be on the rise.

A stray shower or storm will be possible overnight Saturday, with better rain chances arriving Sunday into Monday.
