PGA Tour may ban more golfers

When it comes to LIV Golf, the PGA Tour is not playing around with their involvement.

According to Bob Garig of Sports Illustrated, the PGA Tour is allegedly threatening players from the Japan Golf Tour with suspensions if they continue to participate in LIV Golf tournaments.

According to what Harig has written, this move helps explain why a few Japanese players who played in the most recent LIV Golf tournament in New Jersey are not

competing in the one that is taking place this week in Boston.

Any player who has taken part in a competition hosted by the LIV Golf this year would be unable to compete in any

competitions hosted by the PGA Tour or any of its other sanctioned circuits until the year 2022. There is currently no information available on whether or not this will still count for 2023.

The PGA Tour is attempting to differentiate itself from the LIV Tour in yet another manner with this move.

This is a predicament that is not going to be resolved any time in the near future.
