NASCAR World Reacts to the Kurt Busch and Bubba Wallace Decision

Kurt Busch of 23XI Racing will not be driving the No. 45 vehicle for the foreseeable future due to an injury; teammate Bubba Wallace will take over.

NASCAR insider Bob Pockrass claims that Denny Hamlin, team owner of the 23XI, has made it clear what the organization's position is.

Wallace will continue to drive the No. 45 car if Busch joins the team before the season is over, but he will move into Wallace's No. 23 car.

The No. 45 car for 23XI has been a tremendous asset to the team this year. The car has one victory, five top-five finishes,

and nine top-10 finishes between Kyle Busch and Ty Gibbs. Wallace has comparable numbers but more than twice the number of races.

Kurt Busch would race for 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup playoffs if he were healthy, though there is a very slim chance he would actually take home the championship.
