Marvel Studios is responding to criticism from the VFX community.

Recently, a lot of large film companies have found themselves in the centre of intense debate. Marvel Studios has received a lot of criticism for how it treats the VFX artists that work for it,

while Warner Bros has come under fire for cancelling several prospective projects. In response to the criticism, Marvel Studios is trying to make some modifications.

On various Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, some VFX artists who work for Marvel Studios said that they occasionally put in 80 hours per week for months at a time.

The working environment was described as having "prolonged periods of crunch, incredibly limited resources,

and a seemingly continuous cycle of rewrites and reshoots that pushes outsourced VFX firms to the edge" in an exposé by IGN.

There is a glimmer of hope among the criticism over the oppressive working conditions for VFX workers at Marvel Studios.
